LPS Event Catering organised the Porsche European Open from the 5th to the 8th of September 2019 on behalf of the European Tour and, in terms of tasty delectability, landed a “hole in one”. For no less than roughly 2,000 VIPs and over 30,000 guests in the areas open to the public.
This was the third time that the world-class golf tournament took place on the grounds of the Green Eagles Club in Winsen near Hamburg, Germany. For four days LPS was in charge of VIP hospitality and public catering while also attending to the catering for staff, the media and caddies. The contract equally included performing in the widest variety of settings that would be hard to surpass with respect to their scale and complexity.
The team from LPS created fantastic food at upscale “live cooking” and “grab & go” stations. The stations were restaged time and again to match the time of day. But that’s not all: A barbecue station on the VIP terrace proved to be extremely popular, while food trucks and airstreams deployed in the public area under the direction of LPS had an abundant range of foods and beverages on offer.
The team of 120 from LPS convinced one and all by displaying a maximum of dedicated commitment which, in turn, ensured that all of the events ran smoothly – in the kitchen, with service, and the logistics. Delicious right down to the last putt. The client was delighted, the golf and sports fans raved.
