In October the departures hall at Airport Tempelhof in Berlin was transformed into a modern marketplace with hip, fashionable street-food stands to benefit a major foundation. The former airline shops were used as show kitchens: for pizza baked in a stone oven, pulled duck and tapas. Yet classics such as fried “Schnitzel” cutlets served with potato salad, broiled salmon, “Kaiserschmarrn” crêpes and soft ice cream equally had their place at live serving stations. Here everyone got exactly what they had a yen for. A fabulous evening that absolutely delighted all of the 900 guests. An event as smashing success!
Once a year the “Gründergeist Ball” forms the highlight on the German scene that celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit that prevailed from the mid-19th century into the early 20th. So it was only natural for the Who’s Who among digital start-ups to hold a fantastic party night on 17 November on the historic premises at the erstwhile Imperial Main Telegraph Office. The catering for the exclusive gala dinner for 600 VIP guests was performed by LPS Event Catering.
